SHEARING

We shear our sheep by hand when the fleece is ripe. This differs for each sheep. We start around mid May and late June we finish. We place the sheep in a head stand. Some sheep can be rooed.

Each fleece is immediately scored, cleaned and rolled. The fleece is then put in a plastic bag and the color and weight is listed on the bag.
